Eilers Minde, Tingbjerg
Public Commission in collaboration with Matters Arkitekter
Creating a site-specific installation for the care home Eilers Minde in Tingbjerg has been a project I have long hoped for.
The artwork is placed within a large central staircase, a space used daily by residents for movement and rehabilitation, while also serving as a passageway for staff and visiting families. I wanted to create a visual universe that offers a sense of calm, presence, and a small poetic pause amid the rhythm of everyday life and the movement up and down the stairs.
Through glass, colour, reflections, and organic forms, the installation seeks to bring both a moment of breath and a quiet uplift to daily routines. Inspired by shifting landscapes and the meeting between sky and earth, the work unfolds through soft gradients and floating forms, gently accompanying those who pass through the space.
Developed in close collaboration with Matters Arkitekter.
